Biddle’s Piano Bar & Restaurant is hitting the right key with Southwest Florida.

With live music and great food, the restaurant is serving and entertaining the community under the direction of Chef Bruno Ferreyra and Sous Chef Joshua Spicer.

Owners, Andy and Brenda Biddle’s kept the Bennigan’s bar, but brought back luxury with booths, warm colors and a grand piano that entertains patrons as they chow down. A variety of live performers grace the restaurant with tunes including jazz, blues and much more. But the true jewels in this joint are the culinary delights.

Those interested in many great tastes, should feast their eyes on the starters Biddle’s has to offer. The dishes presentations are top notch and they ooze with freshness and flavor. But according to when you are visiting, different menu choices are important to look out for.

We visited during lunch time so we made sure to pull up a chair and enjoy the Seafood Martini, a mixture of shrimp and crabmeat with avocado, onion, cilantro and a citrus tomato sauce. Prepared in an elegant martini glass, the delicious starter indulges the taste buds in shellfish perfectly enhanced by the citrus tomato sauce.

If fish is your fav, make sure to also sink your teeth into the Tower of Tuna. This plate of Ahi tuna lightly marinated in olive oil, diced and stacked with avocado salsa is delicious. Served with wakame salad and ginger, the Tower of Tuna is one of Biddle’s specialties and that’s thanks to the explosion of flavor that occurs in your mouth.

To continue our epicurean adventure, we ordered the Duck Salad and the Tropical Chicken Sandwich. The Duck Salad is another of the restaurants signature items. This treat has a tequila-lime marinated breast, crisp seared medium rare on balsamic tossed Mesculin greens with crisp fried goat cheese.

The Tropical Chicken Sandwich is a flavorsome treat of diced chicken, macadamia nuts, grapes, celery, and plum sauce. The sandwich is served with fruit and Mesculin greens, but make sure to ask for the yummy steak fries…they really hit the spot.

Other scrumptious choices on the menu include the Seafood Wellington, the Jalapeño Shrimp and the Filet Napoleon.

Biddle’s hosts Happy Hour daily from 4 – 6 pm with 2 for 1 drinks and discounted appetizers. They also have a Sunday Brunch Buffet and Late Night Dining.
